Wastepaper basket in painted sheet metal early 20th century
Pretty bouquet of polychrome flowers painted on a black background in the pure Napoleon III style. Oval in shape, the back is unpainted. The upper border as well as the lower are underlined with gold paint.
This basket was found in all the so-called bourgeois apartments at the beginning of 1900. It is in good general condition but it should be noted that there are scratches, small bumps and scattered traces of oxidation in connection with its past use.
Dimensions: height of 29 cm, length of 25 cm and width of 19.5 cm.
