Invented at the end of the 19th century by Paul Aliès in St Antonin de Noble Val (France) to speed up and facilitate grafts on American plants.
In its original state, the clamp is functional, it should be noted the presence of oxidation under which we can distinguish the mentions Alies and others on the sockets.
