The illustration depicts a woman who lets her cat play with the ribbons of her negligee. Lovely drawing by Alfred Renaudin (1866 - 1944) who signed some of his works under this pseudonym. Circa 1920.

the dog playing at the edge of the pond and
the dog on the dressing table by the same author.
In good condition apart from several spots of foxing and sunstroke which has altered the colors of the drawings in the medallion.
Dimensions of the board: height of 45 cm x width of 33 cm. Dimensions of the drawing: height of 28.5 cm x width of 22.5 cm. Medallion dimensions: 29 cm high x 23 cm wide.
